Hamakua Country Club
Founded in 1926, the second oldest course on Hawaii Island. Built by Scottish engineers at a local sugar plantation in Honoka'a at 1,200 feet elevation. This 9-hole layout features two sets of tees (par 66 men, par 74 women) with small greens and lush fairways. Also offers an 18-hole par-3 course with holes ranging from 75-150 yards. Clubhouse sits atop the course with panoramic Pacific Ocean views.
Hapuna Golf Course
Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed 18-hole oceanfront course at The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort. Opened in 1992 and revitalized with new Seashore Paspalum turf on fairways and tees in 2025. This links-style layout spans 6,875 yards from sea level to 750 feet, offering dramatic elevation changes and panoramic Kohala Coast views. Signature holes include the 3rd, 9th, and 18th.
Hilo Municipal Golf Course

Makalei Golf Club
